How to Enroll
Many treatments used today are the results of past clinical trials. If you are interested in participating in a clinical trial, you should talk to your doctor to find out if there are any options available to you.
In order to participate in a clinical trial, you must meet certain eligibility criteria and sign documents to indicate that you understand the risks and potential benefits of participating. You have the right to withdraw from the trial or refuse treatments at any time; however, this will make you ineligible to continue the trial.
To find out more about clinical trials, visit the National Institute of Health’s Clinical Trials webpage at www.clinicaltrials.gov.
