If you’re interested in seeking treatment at the Rutland Diabetes & Endocrinology Center, you will need a referral from your physician or nurse practitioner. This ensures that you, your provider and our specialists are collaborating for your health and treatment right from the start. your provider is involved from the start. Please call his/her office to learn which forms and information are required for referral within your insurance plan.
Most insurance companies cover the cost to diagnose and treat diabetes and endocrine disorders. Many also pay for all or a portion of diabetes education services. Please check with your insurance provider to learn about your coverage and to find out about the copayments and referral requirements for your particular medical situation. Our staff is familiar with the requirements of many insurance companies and can help with your insurance coverage questions.

- Friday, 8am-12noon
