Colonoscopy
For your comfort and convenience our general surgeons perform colonoscopies in our state-of-the-art endoscopy suites. Our facility is designed so that admitting, procedures and recovery all take place in one self contained area, and includes four procedure rooms as well as preparation and recovery bays.
Sometimes during a colonoscopy, a polyp or abnormal tissue is found; if so, your surgeon may remove it at that time. A tissue sample (biopsy) of the polyp will be sent to our lab for analysis to determine whether further studies and tests are needed.
