Women’s Health at
Rutland Regional

We’ve adjusted our office hours and services to accommodate our patients during the COVID-19 crisis. For our pregnant patients, we recommend you receive the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as it becomes available. Learn more about COVID-19 and pregnancy here>>>
Rutland Women’s Healthcare patients with obstetric needs such as prenatal visits, ultrasounds, fetal testing, lab tests and more can now be accommodated at our offices at 147 Allen Street, across the street from the hospital. Additionally, we are offering emergent gynecological support for women with conditions such as:
- Bleeding after menopause
- Heavy menstrual flow
- Possible miscarriage
- Ectopic pregnancy
- Birth control issues
For some of these services, you might qualify for same day or immediate care. Rutland Women’s Healthcare is also offering telehealth for services that do not require an in-office visit as well as wellness coaching and counseling. In order to keep our patients safe, we adhere to all safety and infection control protocols that have been added in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. All patients will be required (and will be provided with) to wear a procedure mask during their visit.
Rutland Women’s Healthcare provides these services Monday-Friday, 8am – 5pm

Convenient Health Screenings
Rutland Regional makes it easy for you to schedule a bone density test at the same time as a mammogram. Both tests are available five days per week and are performed during one appointment by the same technician. Call 802.747.1880 to make an appointment. Mammography appointments can be made directly by the patient, while bone density testing requires a doctor′s order.

Bone Density Testing
This test is performed in the hospital by Diagnostic Imaging. It is especially important for women over 50, or past menopause, to keep track of their bone health and prevent, diagnose or manage osteoporosis.
