On Friday, May 15, 2026, Rutland Regional Medical Center will host the 2026 Green Mountain Gala at Roots the Restaurant in downtown Rutland. In addition to being RRMC’s premier fundraising event, the Green Mountain Gala is a wonderful opportunity to meet and mingle with community members, donors, physicians, and hospital staff.

This year we will take over Roots the Restaurant, adding a tent on the green to create a unique and special indoor-outdoor experience. Guests will enjoy locally sourced hors d’oeuvres, appetizers, live music and dancing by The Aaron Audet Band.

All proceeds from this year’s Green Mountain Gala will support the cost of a new robotic assisted surgical platform that will be used by trained surgeons at RRMC to perform minimally invasive procedures with high precision. This new technology will enable increased access to timely, high-quality surgical care, reduce patient wait times, and broaden the range of minimally invasive procedures available in our local region. In addition, the new system will help improve patient outcomes while strengthening RRMC’s ability to recruit and retain highly skilled surgeons in gynecology, urology, and general surgery. Investing in this technology is an investment in the long-term health and vitality of our region.
